How to show two phones in one OBS scene (game and facecam)

Short answer
Connect both phones to ByteMirror, then add two ByteMirror Phone sources in OBS Studio: one showing the first phone's screen, the other showing the second phone's camera. Each is its own source, so you can place and crop them separately. Two or more phones at once needs Pro or Lifetime (up to 5); the free plan shows one phone at a time.
A spare phone makes a good facecam, and its camera is usually sharper than a webcam. The tricky part is getting both phones into OBS at the same time.
In ByteMirror each phone is its own OBS source, and each source shows either a phone's screen or its camera.
Steps
- 1Connect the game phoneAn iPhone by its cable or AirPlay, or an Android phone through the ByteMirror app or USB debugging.
- 2Connect the camera phoneOn an iPhone, open the camera page in Safari from Add phone, iPhone camera. On Android, pair with the ByteMirror app and choose Camera.
- 3Add two sourcesIn OBS Studio, add a ByteMirror Phone source for the game phone's screen and another for the camera phone's camera.
- 4Arrange the sceneResize the game to fill the canvas and place the facecam in a corner. Each source's sound has its own slider in the OBS audio mixer.
Battery
A phone only sends video while a source is showing it, which saves its battery when the scene is hidden.
